Is this legal advice?
No. HostSorted is a reminder and record-keeping tool. We explain each requirement in plain English and link to official guidance, but you stay responsible for your property.
Does it cover Wales and Scotland?
Not yet. Scotland has its own licensing scheme and Wales has its own rules, so we're getting England exactly right first.
What is the short-term let register?
The government has said a national register for short-term lets in England will be running by March 2027. Hosts are expected to get a registration number for their listings and to confirm their property meets safety rules. The details and fees haven't been published yet; we'll update HostSorted as soon as they are.
What happens after the free trial?
